When Ulf Kilman worked with athletes, he noticed that the body sometimes needed help activating an acupuncture point. It was not enough to hold on to the point, nor to insert an acupuncture needle for a few minutes. It was like the body needed help to understand that it had to start collecting energy or information into a certain point on the meridian, not necessary an acupuncture point but somewhere on the meridian. Ulf tried different solutions but using a press needle was the most efficient and the client can easily remove it after 4-7 days.
